Island West Alpacas - Barn Order Sheet
A number of visitors to the farm both in person and online have asked for details on our simple, functional barn design. Here's an order list for the 12x36' barn. See additional pictures on the preparation page.
The barn is enclosed on three sides with a large barn door on the back
side. It stands 9' high in the front and 7' high in the back.
The design is simple yet functional and adaptable.
The total cost, with paid help (around $1500) was around $4000.

Other than that, odds and ends like paint brushes, a post hole digger and tools I didn't have.
The gates shown are called "Lifetime" gates from Portland, OR. They are practical and allow for various configurations. The 10' gates sell for about $100 each.
